Before you all get blurry eyed with jubilation...yes its true...contrary to popular belief I'm still alive. Although I haven't posted a blog in several months (shame on me) I am still around Salsa land doing my part in sharing grumpiness and cynacism in name of riding and smiling. Bit ironic isn't it. Actually I'm not all that grumpy or cycnical but I needed a persona so went with it. Okay..maybe I'm a bit cycnical. Anyway...
The biggest tradeshow in the bike industry as we know it is taking place next week in Sin City, Las Vegas. If your gonna be there...God help you, but stop by and say hi. I'll be the one pretending to be super happy to have been standing on my feet for the past 3 days straight sporting a semi smile and dredlocks. If you are going to be at home scanning the web every 30 seconds for spy photos of the newest techno and otherwise gear...I say down with productivity and search away! In all seriousness though the show is pretty cool and you get to see all kinds of crazy cool bike stuff, and we have plenty of it to show off ourselves. Jason has dropped a few hints and believe me its not just hype...even this grouchy MTB dork thinks our new stuff is over the top cool. If your doing those web searches I talked about earlier...I can almost gaurantee you that our new stuff is so cool we'll be in at least half the photos you just have to send to your friends in the cube across the way. So..stop by the booth or the web or whatever and check out the new candy in Salsaville next week. You won't regret it.
One more unrelated thing. I started loading some of my older cd's onto the ole' ipod in preperation for hours of travel. One such cd was a band called Stretch Armstrong. Their record "A Revolution Transmission" is a must for your hard core punk collection and is awesome to ride to. (at appropriate volumes so as not hurt oneself or others of course) And if you haven't picked up my bands cd "Everyone has an hourglass.." your in big trouble. Go get it now. Or else.
