Dos Niner Frame

This specific model has been archived. It is no longer being produced or has changed in appearance but is listed here for historical/research purposes.

The Dos Niner stands proudly as a definitive part of modern Salsa history. Our first 29’er design, the scandium alloy pivotless softie continues to earn the praises of those who ride it.

Our custom-drawn scandium alloy tubing makes the pivotless Dos Niner possible. Scandium’s increased fatigue life allows the specially- shaped chainstays to withstand the flex cycles that would cause other materials to fail.

The Relish air shock delivers one inch of rear wheel travel, which is just enough to take the edge off things when combined with the extra smoothness provided by the 29" wheels.

With clearance for 2.3" tires, the Dos Niner rolls on as a formidable off-road machine…light enough for XC racing…comfortable enough for off-road endurance events.

Roll over logs and through rock gardens without turning your back into your own worst enemy. Put that extra traction to good use on steep climbs and sweet singletrack descents.

Dos Niner. 29 inches of Spanglish.
