Why FAZUA?

When we were designing our Moraine all-mountain eMTB and Wanderosa full-sus gravel ebike, our goal was a bike that was light, capable, and quiet. After reviewing all the options, the FAZUA Ride 60 system felt like the best fit.

First off, its 60Nm drive unit and battery weigh in at just 9.2lb (4.2kg) — that’s a lot of punch for its weight. This lightweight system means that Moraine and Wanderosa both pedal more like a regular bike than some of the heavier, high-torque ebikes out there. Less weight also means more saddle time out of every charge.

Second, the FAZUA Ride 60 is a compact system, which gave us more freedom to design these bikes the way we wanted. They look like Salsas, and casual observers likely won’t even notice that they’re ebikes.

The Experience

The FAZUA Ride 60’s minimalist vibe continues out on the trail. The assist kicks in gracefully, yet the motor is highly responsive to your pedal input. Cycle through the three assist levels — Breeze, River, and Rocket — Breeze, River, and Rocket — with the low-profile top-tube controller, intuitive Ring Controller, or Road Control buttons. (Hint: hold the Ring Controller upward or hold both Road Control buttons simultaneously for more than two seconds to activate Boost mode, a short-but-sweet burst of power to the pedals).

Another thing you’ll notice (or maybe not) about the FAZUA Ride 60 is that it’s breeze-in-the-trees quiet. This means one less distraction and a better connection with your ride environment.

The Tech

The FAZUA Ride 60 system brings plenty of tech to the table. The FAZUA App makes it easy to customize the assist levels, so you can dial in your ideal ride feel in seconds.

The app can also track real-time ride and drive-system data and share your rides to Strava and other platforms. The FAZUA system is ANT+ and Bluetooth-compatible for pairing your devices. And speaking of devices, the top tube controller pops up to reveal a USB-C charging port in case your phone or GPS unit needs a little more juice.
