The tangible progress of learning how to ride a technical trail, the learning curve of bike-packing in the snow, and the people and places you get to see while running errands or spending all day on the bike — these are all reasons why I can't pick just one favorite style of riding. Being able to experience the outdoors on a bicycle in every season has brought so much joy and ambition to my life, especially because of the friends that I have met through the miles. My perfect bike ride includes petting a dog, Type 2 fun, correctly identifying a bird or plant, and plenty of snacks.
