Our next-generation, Salsa-designed, externally and internally butted 4130 tubeset, engineered from the ground up, provides a strong frame at an impressively low weight. Specifically designed for and found on select Salsa frames 

Boost Technology 

148 x 12mm rear spacing paired with a standard width bottom bracket results in the most tire clearance possible with the narrowest crank Q-factor, and also results in a stiffer and stronger rear wheel 

Firestarter Carbon Fork 

Full carbon fork with a tapered 1-1/8 to 1-1/2" steerer tube for confidence-inspired tracking through the tough stuff. Massive tire clearance, up to 29 x 3" tires. 15 x 100mm thru-axle and Salsa-designed carbon layup for frame-matching compliance. 74mm post-mount style brake mount. 160 to 200mm disc brake rotor compatible

The Alternator dropout delivers incredible drivetrain versatility. Run singlespeed or geared, QR or thru-axle, freehub or Rohloff. Set the Alternator dropouts all the way forward for a shorter wheelbase that results in quick and nimble handling, or set back for more stability—the power is yours.
