Alternator 2.0 Dropout Plates

Alternator 2.0 Dropouts are one of Salsa’s modular adjustable dropout systems. It consists of replaceable dropout plates and fixing hardware that are specifically designed for, and only compatible with, Salsa frames using the Alternator 2.0 system.

Frames and hardware designed for the Alternator 2.0 Dropout system are not interchangeable with frames or hardware designed for Alternator 1.0, 1.5, or Flat-Mount dropout systems. Alternator 2.0 Dropout plates are compatible with frames featuring 142, 148, 177, or 197mm spacing.

• FS0266 Salsa Alternator 2.0 Dropout Plate (Drive Side, Adjustable, Thru-Axle)
  • For use on 2017 and newer Mukluk and Woodsmoke frames
  • Allows for 17mm of fore-aft adjustment in the rear axle position
  • Thru-axle thread pitch = 1.5
  • Drive side plate only
  • Designed for post-mount brake
  • Use only with Salsa Hardware Kit for Alternator 2.0 Adjustable Plates (sold separately)
  • Replacement for FS2353
• FS0267 Salsa Alternator 2.0 Dropout Plate (Drive Side, Two-Position Fixed, Thru-Axle)
  • For use on 2017 and newer Mukluk and Woodsmoke frames
  • Thru-axle thread pitch = 1.5
  • Allows the rear axle to be set in two different fore-aft positions 17mm apart
  • Designed for post-mount brake
  • Drive side plate only
